At Accrofab, we believe in doing whatever we can to help our customers. With our extensive knowledge of aerospace component manufacturing techniques we will always offer our advice to improve the design of a part.
When the bracket was brought to us for manufacture we were convinced that we would be able to modify the part to save weight without compromising the design intention. Using our knowledge of manufacturing techniques and utilising our Unigraphics 3D modelling software, we suggested major revisions to the original design.
The net result of the design changes was a 40% reduction in weight from the original bracket design and an extremely happy customer.
